A unique exhibition based on ‘The Sirens of Haarlem’: the graphic novel about the Haarlem resistance fighters Hannie Schaft and the sisters Truus and Freddie Oversteegen.
Offering an authentic, non-Dutch perspective on the war, the Brazilian duo Felipe Pan and Giovanna Guimarães are now bringing this story to a global audience. The exhibition features the original drawings for this work.
The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with the Haarlem Comic Book Days and Jopo de Pojo, and will be on display at the Janskerk from Friday 29 May to Friday 26 June.
