In de Haarlemse Koepel werken wij aan de herinrichting van de cel dichtbij de plek waar Hannie Schaft gevangen zat. Juist in deze cel willen wij het verhaal over haar leven, verzet, moed en dood op indringende manier laten zien.

In the Haarlem dome, we are working on the refurbishment of the cell near where Hannie Schaft was imprisoned.

It is precisely in this cell that we want to vividly present the story of her life, resistance, courage, and death. This includes an animation on the cell walls depicting her short life.

Bringing ideas to life

Where resistance icon Hannie Schaft endured frightening hours, we create a brief moment of reflection that should lead to awareness.

The more than 400,000 visitors who visit the Koepel annually can meet her here and be inspired by Hannie as a resistance icon.

We need your help

To make this animation at the KoepelCel financially possible, your contribution is essential.

The National Hannie Schaft Foundation wants to raise awareness among people—especially young people—of the dangers of exclusion and discrimination and to stand up for peace and justice, so they can make a difference when it matters most.

Donate too

With your contribution (of at least €50), you will contribute to the redevelopment of the Cell in the Haarlem Koepel and to continuing the inspiration Hannie Schaft provides for current and future generations.

Thank you in advance for your help in making this possible. We will keep you updated on this process and the eventual opening.
